Software and experimental setting:
The algorithm was implemented as a Java stand-alone application and
a prototype can be downloaded this web page. Each run was executed
in one of the nodes of a computing platform that used the Sun Grid
Engine queuing system. Each node was a dual-core processor with 4 GB
memory. Furthermore, we have run the validation of the results in
the same platform.
