I am a (Full) Professor of Software Engineering at the University of Seville (Spain). I am a member of the Applied Software Engineering research group and a senior member of the SCORE Unit of Excellence, where I lead the research line on Software Engineering. Before this, I completed my Ph.D in software product lines in 2011. I do applied and tool-oriented software engineering research. My main motivation is helping to improve software quality and developers' productivity through automation. In my research, I seek close collaboration with industry through research contracts and technical training. My current research interests focus on software testing, AI-driven SE, trustworthy AI, and teaching SE. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in completing a Ph.D in any of these (or related) topics.
